A trip across Puget Sound aboard a Washington State Ferry is a quintessential PNW experience, akin to ascending the iconic Space Needle. I never get tired of the ride.

What awaits on the "other" side of the ferry from Seattle or Edmonds is always worth a day trip or even an extended stay.
